Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Description:

Strong background in IT Risk and Security
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, GLBA, SOX
Hands-on experience with:
Security controls
Audit response
Vulnerability remediation
Security tool implementations
Must have excellent communication skills and long project tenures (no short-term hops)

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Elicit, document, and analyze business/functional requirements
Process Mapping & Gap Analysis: Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements aligned to compliance needs
IT Risk & Security Projects: Support DLP, vulnerability remediation, tool deployments, and control enhancements
Stakeholder Liaison: Bridge communication between business units, technology teams, and vendors
Reporting & Dashboards: Assist with dashboards and KPIs using Power BI or Excel
Testing & Validation: Support UAT, test cases, and post-deployment verification
Documentation: Develop BRDs, process flows, and risk/control documentation

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
Experience: 7+ years as a Business Analyst, ideally within Financial Services, IT Risk, or Security domains
Frameworks: Familiarity with NIST, GLBA, SOX
Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Visio, Power BI (preferred)
