Job summary

Hoplite Solutions LLC in Columbia, MD is seeking a CNO Vulnerability Researcher to contribute to a 7-year contract. You will research software vulnerabilities, reverse engineer for security bypasses, and help design and test both user land and kernel software across Windows, Linux, and mobile platforms.

The role requires hands-on vulnerability research, proficiency in Python/C/C++, and experience with common reverse-engineering tools.

Qualifications

Experience in vulnerability research.
Experience in reverse engineering and common security research tools (e.g., IdaPro, Ghidra, Radare, Binary Ninja, SysInternals, GDB, WinDBG).
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Assembly (x86/x64) programming.
CNO capability development experience.
Proficiency in low-level internals in Windows, Linux, or Mobile.
Troubleshooting / debugging experience.

Responsibilities

Researches and discovers software vulnerabilities.
Reverse engineer software for security mechanism bypasses and lead projects, when needed.
Assist in designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging user land and kernel software and systems.
Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, static and dynamic program analysis, network security, and encryption.
Communicate statuses with leadership and supervise subordinate project staff.
