Job summary

Veriipro in New York seeks an Experienced AI-Enabled Vulnerability & Remediation Engineer to manage security across enterprise Linux environments, leveraging AI tools to automate vulnerability analysis, reporting, and remediation.

You will administer RHEL, perform vulnerability assessments with Qualys/Nessus/Tenable, analyze CVE/CVSS findings, and develop AI-powered workflows using Python, Bash, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub to drive closure.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in vulnerability management using Qualys, Nessus, or Tenable.
• Proficient in CVE/CVSS analysis and remediation.
• Proficient in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience building AI-powered vulnerability workflows and agentic AI solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub) and configuration automation (Ansible).
• Familiarity with AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support RHEL 7/8/9 production environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessment and remediation using Qualys, Tenable, or Nessus.
• Analyze CVE/CVSS findings and coordinate remediation activities.
• Develop automation using Python, Bash, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Build AI-powered workflows for vulnerability data collection, correlation, reporting, and remediation recommendations.
• Design and implement AI prompt-based agents and Agentic AI workflows to automate security operations.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to drive remediation to closure.

Experienced AI-Enabled Vulnerability & Remediation Engineer with strong Linux administration and vulnerability management expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across enterprise Linux environments while leveraging AI tools and agentic workflows to automate vulnerability analysis, reporting, and remediation processes.
