KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Vulnerability Management to join a global cybersecurity team. The role blends hands-on engineering with Python scripting, REST API integrations, and automation to improve security operations and posture.

The engineer will operate as a Level 3/4 expert, identifying vulnerabilities across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments, while integrating with CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with senior stakeholders to meet corporate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 3+ years SDLC experience in hosted production environments.
• 3+ years experience in Vulnerability Management and cybersecurity engineering.
• Hands-on Python for automation and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across infrastructure, applications, and cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Design and execute threat detection and incident response protocols.
• Report on security practices, compliance, and KPIs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership and teams to align cybersecurity with business objectives.
• Develop Python scripts and REST API integrations for automation and remediation tracking.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Communicate risks and strategies to senior management and document designs and procedures.
