Job summary

ActiveSoft, Inc. seeks an experienced Vulnerability Management / Tenable Consultant to support a federal environment. The right candidate has hands-on Tenable vulnerability management experience and cloud security skills in Azure and/or AWS.

You will work directly with customers, ISSOs, and compliance stakeholders to identify, analyze, remediate, and report on findings. Federal cybersecurity experience is mandatory and critical to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Tenable vulnerability management experience for assessment and remediation.
• Experience conducting and managing Tenable vulnerability scans.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability identification, analysis, remediation and reporting.
• Ability to build and configure Tenable reports, dashboards and metrics.
• Nessus experience is required/preferred as part of the environment.
• Operational patching experience is a plus; vulnerability scanning is the primary focus.
• Federal cybersecurity experience in government environments is mandatory.
• Experience working with security teams, ISSOs, compliance stakeholders, and government customers.
• Hands-on security in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments; cloud posture management knowledge.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Tenable experience performing vulnerability management.
• Experience conducting and managing Tenable vulnerability scans.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability identification, analysis, remediation, and reporting.
• Ability to build/configure Tenable tools, reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Nessus experience is required/preferred as it is part of the environment.

• Federal Cybersecurity Experience
• Federal experience is mandatory.
• Experience working in federal/government cybersecurity or information security environments.
