Agile Defense is seeking a Vulnerability Assessment (VA) Team Lead for a CBP program in Ashburn, VA. The role is hybrid, requiring a U.S. Citizenship with an active CBP BI preferred.

You will lead scanning, assessment, and prioritization efforts to identify and remediate critical weaknesses across the environment. You will coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely remediation, communicating exploitability and impact to prioritize fixes.

Qualifications

• Led vulnerability assessment or penetration testing work that drove remediation actions.
• Prioritized findings by real exploitability, not just severity scores.
• Experience in federal or highly regulated environments and remediation timelines.
• Led teams to fix issues before they caused incidents and can describe the approach.
• Active CBP BI or other DHS/DoD clearance shortens start date; certifications are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability assessment across the program, including scanning, assessment, and prioritization.
• Coordinate with network, cloud, and security engineering teams to remediate findings.
• Provide context when handing off exploitable findings to threat hunting and incident response leads.
• Drive real remediation rather than producing only reports; ensure fixes are prioritized by impact.
