SmartTech Solutions is seeking a senior Vue.js Developer to join our hybrid team based in Bellevue, WA. You will tackle a backlog of meaningful technology problems, refactor legacy code, and own feature delivery from design through deployment.

You will collaborate with remote teammates, participate in on-call rotations, mentor juniors, and help shape our data pipeline with MySQL and Ruby on Rails while delivering high-quality, scalable software.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of standing behind your own estimates.
• At least 6 years building expertise within the technology space.
• A history of leaving technology processes better than you found them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Profile and refactor legacy code to reduce technical debt over time
• Profile GitLab CI memory use and chase down the leaks crashing Bellevue nodes
• Deliver senior-quality features within the $149,000 - $223,000 Vue.js Developer mandate
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
• Optimize application performance, latency, and resource utilization at scale
• Coordinate releases with stakeholders across Bellevue, WA and remote teams
• Stitch Ruby on Rails events into the MySQL pipeline feeding SmartTech Solutions's technology reports
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong code-review culture
