Job summary

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) seeks a Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor to lead a team of VR Counselors, oversee daily service delivery, and ensure timely, high-quality support for participants. The role includes coaching staff, monitoring cases for compliance, and supporting statewide initiatives.

The supervisor will review caseloads, manage expenditures, and assist with referrals, intake, and reporting. Some caseload coverage and special projects may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years experience as vocational rehabilitation counselor or vocational rehabilitation program specialist with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities.
• Undergraduate core program in human services area with 5 years direct counseling experience in private/governmental settings.
• Graduate core program in human services area with 4 years direct counseling experience in private/governmental settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day service delivery and ensure consistent and timely support for participants.
• Coach, train, and evaluate staff performance to support professional development.
• Review cases and caseloads for compliance and quality; monitor expenditures and prepare progress reports.

Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
