Job summary

QualityAI in Austin is seeking a QA Test Analyst II to join our team. You will perform manual testing for Android-based devices and VR products, focusing on mobile and web applications. The role requires owning a feature, writing test plans, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure quality across releases.

The ideal candidate has strong bug triage, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset to unblock issues in a fast-paced environment. Onsite work in Austin, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot bugs visually and via interfaces.
• Experience with Android APKs and ADB is required.
• Strong communication and initiative to own problems through resolution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent bug reporting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide manual testing support for Android-based devices and future releases.
• Own a feature and become its test expert.
• Develop test plans and write test cases with stakeholders.
• Be the Test Point of Contact for a feature/area.
• Prioritize test plans to catch issues early.
• Communicate plans and status to QA and product teams.
• Triage bugs and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Explore new ways to test VR hardware and software.
