Responsibilities

Assist the teacher in preparing materials and instructional aids.

Confer with the teacher on student progress and serve as substitute when needed.
Provide student supervision before, during, and after school.
Maintain a clean and orderly environment for students.
Assist in assessing student progress and proctor tests.
Lead small group activities and support classroom management.
Perform assigned clerical and bookkeeping duties.
Work with staff to create a quality instructional environment.
