Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Workforce and Affordable Housing Credit Officer within the Community Development Real Estate team.

You will lead the full credit lifecycle for construction and permanent loans, conduct risk reviews, structure transactions, and manage a portfolio through construction, stabilization, and repayment. You will partner with developers, public agencies, and internal teams to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes and guide credit decisions aligned with risk appetite and

Qualifications

Experience in market rate or community development real estate lending or investing.
Underwriting expertise in subordinate/public subsidy layers and construction/permanent financing structures.
Ability to lead, set direction and influence cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end risk analysis of workforce and affordable housing transactions.
Prepare and defend comprehensive credit packages to senior management.
Evaluate third-party due diligence and incorporate findings into credit decisions.
Review legal documentation for alignment with credit terms.
Manage loan portfolio through construction, lease up and repayment.
Collaborate with Legal, Portfolio Management, Risk, Operations and external parties.
Document and maintain data integrity across systems for audits.
