Job summary

Ares Management Corporation seeks a Vice President, Web UI/UX & BI Developer to lead UX strategy for data analytics and reporting. You will oversee dashboards from Power BI to custom React/Angular interfaces, delivering intuitive, executive-grade visualizations across the firm.

The role bridges Data & AI with business units, driving adoption and actionable insights for LP relationships and investment decisions. Strong leadership and design systems are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX/UI design and development experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with data visualization and analytics dashboards.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, dashboard design, DAX, performance optimization, and governance.
• Strong proficiency in React or Angular with TypeScript for building custom web applications.
• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, ECharts, Plotly) and responsive interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive UX/UI strategy for data analytics and reporting platform.
• Lead Power BI dashboard design and governance for enterprise-scale reporting.
• Design and develop custom executive dashboards using React or Angular with TypeScript.
• Create reusable templates and patterns for common reporting scenarios.
• Collaborate with data engineering to optimize data models for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure mobile-friendly visualizations and performance optimization.
