Job summary

Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB) in New York City is seeking a VP, Transaction Monitoring Quality Assurance to lead the QA program for transaction monitoring controls within the Compliance department. The role requires designing KPIs/KRIs, coaching QA analysts, and ensuring controls meet evolving financial crime regulations.

The position is hybrid for NYC metro candidates (2-3 days onsite) or fully remote for those in approved states.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Economics, International Relations or related field preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, or Internal Controls.

Responsibilities

Develop procedures to identify whether transaction monitoring controls adhere to internal standards and policy.
Implement QA test scripts and workpapers for standardization.
Coach and oversee transaction monitoring QA analysts.
Design reporting including KRIs and KPIs to escalate findings and root causes.
Stay updated on financial crimes regulatory changes and align controls accordingly.
Provide feedback to investigators based on QA findings to promote best practices.
Assist with training content to improve investigative quality and effectiveness.
