Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks a Vice President in Internal Audit, Technology Audit, in Dallas to independently assess the firm’s technology control environment and support governance oversight. You will lead or assist risk assessments, design tests for IT controls, and ensure remediation of findings across a global audit team.

We value deep expertise in databases, system architecture, and SDLC security, plus strong communication to report outcomes to management and committees.

Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of experience in technology audit focusing on Financial Services Technology audit with a bachelor's in technology.
• Understanding of system architecture, databases, operating systems and messaging.
• Experience testing automated IT application controls.
• Knowledge of SDLC and security within the software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across a global audit team.

Responsibilities

• Assist/Lead risk assessment, scoping and planning of a review.
• Assist/Lead in executing the review focusing on IT controls around system architecture.
• Design and execute tests to validate technology controls including data analysis and code inspection.
• Document test results in IA repository per guidelines.
• Assist/Lead in tracking remediation of identified risks.
