Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a seasoned finance executive to lead corporate accounting, budgeting and audits for the organization. You will shape financial policy, ensure internal controls, and drive accuracy across financial reporting.
Maintain oversight of the annual audit, coordinate with external auditors, and guide senior leaders on financial performance and strategic planning within a complex healthcare setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A strong background in and comprehensive knowledge of financial management and metrics. Must be skilled at interpreting financial performance and adept at skillfully communicating ideas and strategies to the senior management team. Able to demonstrate a track record of success in strategic planning in a complex healthcare environment. Ability to communicate verbally with all levels of Associates, management and Board members including the ability to communicate complex technical material. Ability to work independently and to exercise independent judgment. Knowledge of computerized general ledger and other accounting systems and ability to use PC-based analytical tools. Must demonstrate strong quantitative/problem-solving abilities including mathematical, statistical and computer skills.
Supervision Provided by this Position Manages directly or indirectly the leaders and staff assigned to Corporate Accounting and Foundation accounting/finance and donor relations.
Physical Demands The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently. The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
