Job description

Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.

Our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions.

Ensures the implementation of the sales strategy, guidelines and targets in selling specific parts of Siemens’ portfolio to customers by combining and leveraging specialized product and unit know how, in order to increase sales and to achieve defined commercial targets.

The VP of Strategic Growth is a senior individual-contributor role on the Zone General Manager’s leadership team, created to break Siemens Healthineers into the zone’s most strategically important competitive accounts - large health systems and IDNs. The role sells across the full Siemens Healthineers Imaging portfolio and works top-down: earning and personally owning executive relationships at the VP and C-suite level, reframing the conversation from individual modalities to the full Siemens Healthineers value proposition, and orchestrating the account team to convert that access into durable growth.

It demands a magnetic executive presence, deep health-industry fluency, the discipline to run a multi-year strategic play, and the ability to lead a cross-functional account team without formal authority. Equally, it demands drive and resilience under sustained rejection, a competitive temperament, coachability, and a proven ability to overcome adversity. This role reports to the Zone General Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Executive relationship development. Gain, build, and personally own VP and C-level relationships across both the clinical and administrative leadership of assigned whitespace accounts.
  • Account strategy and orchestration. Own the account strategy end to end and align the regional field sales team(s) behind a single, coordinated multi-year plan.
  • Team leadership through coaching. Run structured strategy sessions and stakeholder mapping that raise the capability of the entire team calling into the account.
  • Portfolio-based value creation. Lead with the full Healthineers portfolio to establish relevance and differentiation well beyond imaging alone.
  • Account intelligence and planning. Build and maintain a comprehensive account baseline: complete stakeholder/influence map, existing contracts, competitive and Siemens install base, financial health, and GPO affiliation.
  • Handover and continuity. Transition matured accounts to the assigned AE/KAE through a defined process, remaining engaged to protect momentum and continuity.
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience
  • 15+ years of healthcare sales, customer-relationship, or business-management experience, with demonstrated success breaking into or transforming entrenched, competitively held accounts.
  • Proven executive presence and a track record of C-suite access and relationship command.
  • Proven history of leveraging a formal strategic account-management methodology (Miller Heiman / gold sheet / LAMP).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated drive and resilience under sustained rejection, a competitive temperament, coachability, and a proven ability to overcome adversity.
  • Relentlessly persistent and relationship-driven, with a proven ability to succeed in a team-selling environment.
  • Fluency across diagnostic imaging, ultrasound and advanced therapies; conversant in Varian, enterprise services and value-partnership models.
  • Financial and operational acumen sufficient to engage executives on financial health, capital planning, and reimbursement.
  • Predominantly field-based and immersed in assigned accounts; heavy travel; must live in the territory/zone.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Existing C-suite relationships within the zone’s target health systems.
  • Experience structuring enterprise agreements.
  • Domain depth in radiology, oncology, and/or cardiology.
  • FACHE designation and/or active ACHE and executive-forum involvement a plus.
