Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing is conducting a search for a VP of Strategic Business Operations for a premier NYC hedge fund. This role focuses on analyzing and executing impactful change across trading operations and strategic initiatives in partnership with senior business leaders.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in sales, strategy consulting, or hedge fund environments, strong analytical and leadership capabilities, and an MBA or related advanced degree.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sales, strategy consulting, investment banking, or hedge fund/trading.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Understanding of Private Equity/Alternative Asset Management/Real Estate knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic initiatives and craft senior-level presentations.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and solve operational inefficiencies using technology.
• Develop and track KPIs and leading indicators aligned with objectives.
• Assess improvements and propose realigned business objectives.
• Provide insights on firm trading operations and other strategic areas.
• Identify execution gaps and work with senior leadership to implement change.
• Produce reports on compliance, regulatory, and risk initiatives.
• Lead multiple projects prioritizing organizational alignment.
• Coordinate with planning cycles with business leaders.
• Lead process improvements for the trading platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
