Job summary

Schwab is seeking a Senior Wealth Consultant in Westlake, TX to deliver high-touch, relationship-based guidance to Ultra High Net Worth clients across a wide spectrum of investment needs, including planning, estate, retirement, and lending. You will collaborate with wealth specialists and maintain robust client relationships.

The role emphasizes deep client engagement, regulatory awareness, and cross-functional teamwork to provide holistic financial solutions and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Series 7 license required.
  • Series 66 (or 63/65) license required.
  • Life & Health Insurance license required.
  • 7+ years financial services experience.
  • 2+ years Ultra High Net Worth client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a practice of primarily Ultra High Net Worth clients and provide world-class service to clients with complex wealth management needs.
  • Retain existing clients, attract new clients, and generate growth as measured by assets under management, wealth management solutions, and client promoter scores.
  • Partner with wealth specialists to offer solutions including banking, lending, and trust.
  • Take an in-depth consultative approach to analyze, assess, and identify appropriate solutions to meet client needs across Schwab's wealth management offering.
  • Develop customized financial strategies for prospects and existing clients.
  • Assess suitability and recommend appropriate retirement income advice and distribution strategies for clients living in retirement.
  • Deepen client relationships through engagement, discovery, commitment, and ongoing service.

As a Schwab Senior Wealth Consultant, you are responsible for providing high-touch service, ongoing comprehensive guidance, and advice to clients within the context of a dedicated relationship. The Senior Wealth Consultant works across a wide spectrum of investment needs to help clients manage large and complex portfolios. Supporting clients' wealth management needs includes, but is not limited to, financial planning, estate planning, investment management, retirement planning, education planning, active trading, banking, insurance, and lending needs.

What You Will Do
