Job summary

BNY in New York seeks a Vice President to own SOX and ICFR workstreams, guiding risk assessments, walkthroughs, testing, and documentation. You will partner with control owners and auditors and mentor junior team members while delivering high-quality results.

You’ll refresh narratives, control matrices, and inventories, evaluate design and operating effectiveness of key controls, and coordinate evidence collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Experience with banking products, regulatory reporting, or enterprise controls is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of SOX and ICFR workstreams, from planning to testing and reporting.
• Lead risk assessments, control design reviews, and documentation updates.
• Coordinate with control owners and auditors, and supervise junior staff.
• Prepare management updates on progress, risks, and remediation.
