UOB is seeking a VP - Responsible AI Specialist in the Innovation Group to advance ethical AI design, governance, and risk management. Hybrid work in Central Region; full-time.

The role leads standards, risk assessment, bias mitigation, and education across Business Units, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance and Legal. You will partner with external forums and industry groups, champion GenAI adoption, and translate complex AI concepts for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of track record in AI/ML realm, either through technical practice, product ownership or risk/governance roles with deep AI exposure.
• Strong understanding of AI lifecycle, LLMs, Generative AI, model risk, algorithmic bias and explainability.
• 5+ years of experience with model validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI regulatory frameworks & ethics principles.

Responsabilités

• Develop and enforce internal AI standards, guidelines and playbooks.
• Advise project teams on risk mitigation and ensure Responsible AI requirements are embedded in development.
• Act as liaison between business and risk management on AI-related matters.
• Conduct risk assessments for AI models, identify bias and explainability issues, implement controls and guardrails.
• Engage stakeholders across units and educate on Responsible AI principles.
• Champion adoption of AI and GenAI solutions with tangible examples and MVPs.

EAI mandates strong focus on AI expertise and continuous project delivery while spearheading AI innovation and research. **Position Summary**The Responsible AI Specialist ensures that AI systems are designed, deployed, and governed in alignment with ethical principles, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
