Job summary

Blackstone seeks a Vice President of Finance for the Blackstone Private Real Estate Credit and Income Fund (BREC). The role oversees core financial reporting, NAV preparation, and regulatory filings, partnering with portfolio management, operations, and auditors to ensure accuracy and investor-ready results.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive U.S. GAAP expertise, CPA credentials, and 10+ years in financial services or real estate finance, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience (public/private mix).
• Experience in financial services, real estate, and investment management.
• Experience with SEC registrants and public-company reporting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and complex accounting matters.
• Experience overseeing monthly/quarterly closes and audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication; leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Review deliverables from fund administrators and service providers for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead preparation of monthly NAV packages and quarterly/annual reporting.
• Understand investments, financing, activity, and evaluate accounting guidance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to monitor liquidity and maintain financial models.
• Oversee subscription, distribution, and redemption activity reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and drive process improvements.
