Job summary

BGRE in Dallas, TX (Remote option) seeks a VP, Real Estate Development to lead sourcing, evaluation, and execution of development and acquisition opportunities in Texas markets, including Dallas–Fort Worth and Austin. You will build a robust pipeline and work with brokers, landowners, municipalities and partners.

You will oversee due diligence, financial modeling with the investment analysis team, prepare reports, and present to senior leadership. Travel across Texas and the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or business; graduate degree a plus.
• 10+ years in CRE development, acquisitions, or business development in Texas.
• Strong deal-sourcing, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional deal teams and senior stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and lead execution of new development and acquisition opportunities in TX markets.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through relationships with brokers, landowners, municipalities, and partners.
• Lead due diligence with legal, engineering, environmental and other consultants.
• Develop and maintain financial models and underwriting for opportunities including DCF and comps.
• Represent BGRE at industry events and coordinate cross-functional teams to close deals.
