Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent experience in a related field
• Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computation
• Experience building quantum circuits and simulating QEC/FTQC
• Proficiency with major quantum software frameworks (Cirq, Qiskit, Pytket)
• Strong publication record and ability to communicate technical results

Responsibilities

• Develop circuit gadgets and protocols for universal FTQC
• Numerically optimize fault-tolerant gadgets for real hardware
• Implement and experimentally validate FTQC protocols on quantum hardware
• Document analytical, numerical, and experimental results in papers
• Maintain codebase for running quantum algorithms fault-tolerantly on hardware
