Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Quantitative Analytics Vice President to translate business questions into analytical approaches, build models, and deliver insights that impact strategy and outcomes. You will develop analytics and AI/ML solutions supporting strategic initiatives across the Co-Brand Card Analytics team.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 5+ years data analytics or advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity for solving business problems.
• Leadership and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of statistical software (Python, R, SAS) and data querying languages (SQL).
• Familiarity with Generative AI and prompt engineering basics.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Python, Tableau, Alteryx.
• Ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Leverage data analytics to uncover big data opportunities and responsibly apply foundation models and Generative AI.
• Drive data science and analytics strategies and define analytical products.
• Define business problems and scope analytical solutions with partners.
• Develop problem domain understanding and data assets inventory.
• Design and evaluate analytical models and approaches, including Generative AI methods.
• Perform exploratory statistics and data mining on diverse datasets.
• Communicate findings and obstacles to stakeholders to drive delivery.
• Develop subject matter expertise in financial domains and programming skills.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
