Job summary

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management seeks a Vice President to lead rollout and optimization of advanced wealth planning for our UHNW clients and family offices. You will serve as a senior planning expert to Private Wealth Advisors, developing complex analyses of net worth, liquidity, cash flow and wealth-transfer decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA/JD/CFA/ CFP or related advanced degree highly preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in private wealth management, family office advisory, complex financial planning or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience developing sophisticated financial models involving multiple legal entities and consolidated balance sheets.
• Strong understanding of UHNW client financial structures including trusts, partnerships, and private businesses.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills including scenario analysis, cash-flow forecasting, data validation, and auditability.
• Ability to synthesize complex financial information into executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of comprehensive wealth planning and modeling for UHNW individuals and family offices.
• Serve as senior wealth-planning resource for complex client situations and collaborate with advisors.
• Develop advanced tax-efficient wealth transfer analyses & irrevocable trusts planning.
• Build and mentor team members in financial modeling, data review and scenario analysis.
• Translate advisor needs into enhancements to tools, processes, and data infrastructure.
• Present analyses and assumptions in client meetings with clear, professional materials.
