Job summary

Quaestor Advisors, LLC, on behalf of Arena Investors, LP, is expanding its Portfolio & Asset Management team with a Vice President focused on private credit and asset-based lending. You will independently manage a segment of the portfolio, monitor valuations, and report to the Head of Asset Management while mentoring junior staff.

This role requires strong credit fundamentals, deep negotiation skills, and advanced financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamental credit analysis and negotiating skills.
• Advanced financial modeling across varied capital structures.
• Experience in portfolio monitoring, valuation, and reporting.
• Ability to mentor Associates and Analysts and collaborate across teams.
• Proven track record in restructurings, workouts, and amendments.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a segment of the private credit and asset-based portfolio, including valuation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Serve as a player-coach, mentoring Associates and Analysts on complex investments.
• Lead re-underwriting, structuring, and negotiation of amendments and add-on financings.
• Manage workout and restructuring situations for stressed credits, including recovery strategy.
• Direct outside counsel through foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other restructuring processes.
• Conduct market and industry analysis to identify credit trends and risks.
