Job summary

Star Mountain Capital seeks an experienced Portfolio Company Relationship Manager to drive operational performance and value creation across portfolio companies.

You will participate in management meetings, lead value-add initiatives, and support restructuring or turnaround when needed, collaborating with sponsors, advisors and management teams in New York or Tampa with immediate start.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in private equity/private credit with portfolio management focus.
• Onsite experience at portfolio companies and prior lender interactions.
• Experience handling legal documents, amendments, waivers, restructurings.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio company relationships and drive value creation.
• Lead meetings with management and advisors, including governance sessions.
• Generate value-add ideas and support restructurings or turnarounds.
• Lead drafting of amendments, waivers and financing memos.
• Build dynamic financial models and oversee liquidity and covenants.
