Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Vice President to join the Private Bank CIO Team's Portfolio Analytics group. You will help develop quantitative tools, support asset allocation, and contribute to risk management and performance attribution across multi-asset portfolios.

Collaborating with PMs and technology, you will design analytical solutions, validate models, and support new product launches in a fast-paced wealth management environment in New York.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab, SQL.
• Knowledge of statistics and the ability to analyze large data sets.
• Knowledge of asset classes and understanding of investment theory.
• Knowledge of financial data sources (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.).
• Understanding of performance attribution techniques.
• Detail oriented, strong team player, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in financial industry.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Math, Statistics, CS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and support quantitative tools to enhance the investment process.
• Design and maintain the proprietary multi-asset portfolio performance attribution system and weekly performance reports.
• Run in-house reference investment portfolio system to ensure consistent asset allocation and risk budgeting.
• Conduct research and ad-hoc analyses on performance attribution, risk management and portfolio construction.
• Develop agentic analytics tools to support PMs and enhance portfolio management processes.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and partners to address issues in daily management and new product launches.
• Work with Model Review to document, test and validate model techniques and results.
• Assist research, views, and investment strategies.
• Collaborate with Technology to implement the models.
