Montera, a founder-led remote-first company building hyperscale data centers, seeks a strategic VP, People to lead HR and drive scalable people programs across the business. You will shape enterprise-wide talent, total rewards, learning, and HR operations while partnering with executives.

The ideal candidate has 18+ years in HR leadership, with data center industry experience and a track record of scaling People functions in fast-growth settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 18+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years as the most senior People leader.
• Direct experience in the data center industry: hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Strong knowledge of talent management, employee relations, total rewards, HR operations, and employment law.

Responsabilités

• Own enterprise people strategy aligned with growth and capital deployment.
• Advise executive leadership on organizational design and leadership development.
• Build scalable HR programs, policies, and processes for a growing org.
• Lead HR workstreams for multi-site operations, site launches, and acquisitions.
• Lead succession planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Establish HR metrics and people analytics for data-driven decisions.
• Oversee talent acquisition strategy, recruiting speed, quality, and candidate experience.
• Own employer branding, recruiting tech, and vendor investments.
• Lead executive and site-leadership searches and offers strategy.
• Design leadership development, onboarding, and career development programs.
• Develop performance management frameworks and accountability structures.
• Ensure compliance with pay transparency and equity requirements.
• Oversee HR systems, reporting, and lifecycle processes.
