Grocery Outlet is seeking a Vice President, Operator Support to lead a cross-functional team focused on operational strategy, initiatives, field communications, and learning content creation for Independent Operators and Aspiring Operators in Training. The role will drive proactive programs, scalable SOPs, and strong operator partnerships to improve store execution and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 10+ years in store ops, strategy or related support roles.
• Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and complex programs.
• Strong project management, planning, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing remote teams and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term vision, priorities, and roadmap for Operator Support.
• Lead operational improvements, SOPs, and programmatic initiatives across stores.
• Develop training partnerships with AOT/T training teams for operator readiness.
• Oversee field communications and a proactive operator support program.
• Build a high-performing team with a collaborative, results-driven culture.
• Measure success with clear SLAs, reporting rhythms, and continuous improvement.
