Job description

About Us

The Ammortal Chamber brings together multiple scientifically backed technologies into one experience. It is a healing technology that can be utilized by wellness clinics and inside the home. Our clients include specialty spas and clinics, sports teams, and individuals.

Full-time
Remote, US
$225,000 - $250,000 base salary
$325,000 - $350,000 OTE

We are a small team with a startup culture. After our first full year shipping a finished product on the market, we have shown strong growth. Our team is made up of engineers, health professionals, and startup entrepreneurs.
As we continue expanding, this role offers the chance to make a tangible impact by developing and delivering cutting‑edge wellness technology. You'll collaborate across disciplines to innovate and shape technologies that enhance well‑being for our clients.

What is this role and why does it exist?

The response to the Chamber has driven the opportunity to bring an experienced sales leader in to bring the sales team to the next level. We have a small, capable sales team carrying a large and growing book of commercial accounts across Performance, Hospitality, Wellness, Private Clubs, and Residential.
The VP of Sales exists to manage the sales organization end to end. This person will own day‑to‑day sales leadership and build a repeatable system: a defined sales process, accurate pipeline data, clear rep accountability, and a hiring plan that scales the team as production scales. This person will be a player‑coach at first. The team is small enough that this person will carry strategic deals personally while building upon the sales organization.
This is a role with a designed growth path. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the sales organization first, then grow into broader commercial leadership as the business grows.

Responsibilities
  • Own the Sales Goals: Carry the company revenue target. Set and manage quotas, territory and vertical coverage, and the operating cadence that gets the team to plan every month and every quarter
  • Lead, Coach, and Develop the Sales Team: Take over day‑to‑day management of the existing sales team. Run weekly 1:1s, deal coaching, and call reviews. Raise the baseline for the sales team
  • Build the Repeatable Sales Motion: Turn how we sell today into a documented, teachable playbook - discovery, qualification, demo and Chamber experience, pricing conversation, objection handling, and close. Operationalize our account tiering model so effort matches account value
  • Own Forecasting and Pipeline Integrity: work with our VP of Commercial Ops to deliver a forecast leadership can plan production and cash against
  • Set Vertical Strategy and Prioritization: Decide where the team spends its time across Performance, Hospitality, Wellness, Private Clubs, and Residential. Concentrate effort on the verticals that compound
  • Scale the Team: Build the sales hiring plan alongside Finance and People. Interview, onboard, and ramp new reps against a defined ramp curve, and add vertical or segment leadership when volume justifies it
  • Partner Across the Company: Work with Marketing on demand and messaging, with Partner Success on a clean post‑sale handoff, and with Operations and Supply Chain so that what we sell matches what we can build and install
Skills To Excel
  • Systems builder
    • Can see the system underneath the activity and builds it: process, stages, cadence, tooling, accountability
  • Complex, high-consideration selling
    • The Chamber is a significant physical product with a long consideration cycle, multiple stakeholders, install logistics, and different types of buyers
  • Fluent in the Numbers
    • Numbers driven and drives decisions based on the numbers. Able to read a P&L, build forecasts, and be able to tie strategy to the numbers
  • Talent Magnet
    • Point of view on what great looks like in this market
  • Cross-Functional Emotional Intelligence
    • Know how to build trust cross functionally: with Product, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Partner Success
Requirements

What Technical Knowledge Do You Need to Perform in This Role?

Required
  • HubSpot or similar CRM at an administrative level (pipeline architecture, reporting, forecasting, and automation)
  • Sales forecasting methodology and pipeline math
  • Quota, territory, and compensation plan design
  • Revenue intelligence and call‑recording tools (Gong, Clari, Fireflies, or similar)
  • Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and Asana for day‑to‑day collaboration
Preferred
  • Sales enablement and onboarding platforms
  • Comfort using AI tools for research, account mapping, outreach personalization, and call analysis
Qualifications (Must Haves)
  • 8+ years in sales with at least 3 years leading a sales team and carrying a team number
  • Experience selling into any of our core verticals: professional or collegiate sports, hospitality, med spas and wellness clinics, private clubs, or high-net-worth residential
  • Track record building a sales function from an informal motion into a repeatable, documented system
  • Experience selling high-ticket, high-consideration products with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience interviewing, onboarding, and ramping sales reps
  • Ownership of a forecast that leadership relied on for planning
Qualifications (Nice to haves)
