Job description

A Snapshot of Curvion Blue:

Curvion is a high performance RevOps & sales augmentation agency that installs and deploys enterprise-grade, AI-driven revenue engines and selling systems for our clients. Think of a lead generation based marketing agency... But focused on sales! We design and install complete sales systems from sales processes and GTM strategy to CRM setup all the way to fully outsourced sales engagements. Then we enhance those systems with AI enabled tools and battle tested playbooks, and finally, we provide highly trained sales talent to help our clients execute so their revenue engine runs faster, scales efficiently, and performs consistently. In short, we build and power modern, AI-driven sales systems that help companies grow with clarity and control.

Position Overview

What exactly is a VP of Revenue & Growth at Curvion Blue? In simple terms, think of a highly sophisticated revenue leader who combines the capabilities of a CRO, enterprise business development leader, and revenue strategy consultant but still has the hunger and builder mentality to get directly in the trenches. We are building an entirely new B2B revenue line at Curvion, and rather than building the department from the bottom up and eventually hiring someone to lead it, we are hiring top down. This person will enter as the leader of the function, but in the beginning, they will also be the function. Their mandate spans three critical areas: acquiring high-value B2B accounts, leading the strategy and architecture work we sell to those accounts, and ultimately building and leading the revenue organization responsible for scaling this division. Our flagship entry point service into B2B is the Curvion Blue-Print, an initial consulting and Revenue Architecture engagement designed to help companies build the foundation required to scale a sophisticated revenue function. Rather than delivering generic sales consulting, we architect the interconnected components of the revenue engine across Revenue Planning & Economics, GTM & Deal Flow Architecture, Sales Role Architecture, Sales Enablement, RevOps & Technology, Recruiting, and Sales Management & Performance. This means the person selling the engagement needs to be capable of sitting across from a founder, CEO, or revenue executive, diagnosing their business, understanding where their revenue infrastructure is breaking down, and developing a sophisticated point of view on what needs to change. Just as importantly, they need to be capable of leading the strategic work after the deal closes. Initially, this person will personally own much of the B2B sales motion, participate directly in client strategy engagements, help productize and refine our Revenue Architecture methodology, and work alongside the CEO to establish this new division. As the business grows, they will recruit, develop, and lead the team around them, transitioning from individual production toward ownership of the broader revenue function. We are specifically looking for someone who has already operated at a high level across B2B revenue strategy, sales, GTM, and leadership, but hasn't lost the desire to build. If your idea of being a revenue executive is reviewing dashboards while everyone else does the selling and client work, this probably isn't the opportunity for you. If the opportunity to personally build a revenue line and eventually lead the organization you created sounds exciting, keep reading ;)

You SHOULD Apply to This Role If:
  • You have extensive experience building and scaling sophisticated B2B revenue organizations and understand how the different components of a revenue engine work together.
  • You have personally sold complex, high-value B2B services, consulting engagements, technology, or other solutions requiring executive-level discovery, diagnosis, solution design, negotiation, and closing.
  • You can sit across from a founder, CEO, or CRO and confidently diagnose their revenue model, GTM strategy, pipeline, sales organization, economics, systems, and performance challenges.
  • You understand revenue planning and can work backwards from growth targets into pipeline requirements, conversion assumptions, sales capacity, headcount requirements, unit economics, and financial constraints.
  • You understand GTM and deal flow architecture and can evaluate ICPs, acquisition channels, funnel structures, sales motions, conversion paths, and how opportunities should move through the revenue engine.
  • You have experience designing sales organizations including roles, responsibilities, compensation structures, KPIs, expectations, capacity, management layers, and organizational structure.
  • You have a strong understanding of modern sales enablement and know what needs to exist across sales process, methodology, talk tracks, playbooks, training, onboarding, and rep development.
  • You understand RevOps well enough to architect how CRM, data, reporting, automation, workflows, integrations, AI, and the broader revenue technology stack should support the GTM model.
  • You understand what great recruiting, onboarding, ramp, sales management, coaching, forecasting, and performance management look like inside a sophisticated sales organization.
  • You are comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You can spend one hour developing a revenue model with a CEO and the next personally running a sales call or working through a client deliverable.
  • You have built teams before and understand how to eventually turn what you personally execute into processes, methodologies, roles, scorecards, and systems that other people can execute.
  • You are commercially minded. You don't view strategy as an academic exercise—you understand that great Revenue Architecture ultimately needs to produce pipeline, revenue, margin, and enterprise value.
  • You want genuine ownership. The opportunity to build a new B2B division, establish its methodology, generate its first waves of revenue, recruit the team, and ultimately lead the function is significantly more exciting to you than inheriting an already-built department.
  • You still love the game. Despite having leadership experience, selling, strategizing, negotiating, building, and solving difficult revenue problems still energizes you.
You SHOULD NOT Apply to This Role If:
  • You have reached the point in your career where you only want to manage leaders and no longer want to personally sell, strategize, or execute.
  • Your revenue leadership experience has primarily consisted of managing an existing sales organization rather than building one.
  • You require a large existing team, established infrastructure, or fully developed playbook before you can produce results.
  • You are an exceptional sales leader but lack the GTM, RevOps, financial, and strategic depth required to architect an entire revenue function.
  • You are an exceptional strategist but aren't comfortable carrying a quota, selling sophisticated engagements, and being directly accountable for revenue.
  • You struggle to move between executive-level strategy and highly tactical execution.
  • You are uncomfortable challenging founders and executives when the data or strategy suggests they are solving the wrong problem.
  • You want the title and responsibilities of a revenue executive without the accountability that comes with owning the number.
  • You prefer environments that are static, predictable, and already fully built.
  • You eat your pizza with ranch.
  • You clap at the end of movies or when a plane lands.

May be flexible on the last two…

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the growth and development of Curvion's new B2B revenue division.
  • Personally lead the acquisition of high-value B2B accounts during the initial stages of the division.
  • Own complex sales cycles from initial discovery and diagnosis through solution architecture, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Lead strategic discovery and Revenue Architecture engagements with founders, CEOs, revenue executives, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Translate strategic findings into clear revenue architecture recommendations, roadmaps, priorities, and implementation plans.
  • Help productize, refine, and continuously improve the Curvion Blue-Print methodology and B2B service offering.
  • Identify opportunities within Blue-Print engagements to expand clients into Curvion's recurring and done-for-you service lines.
  • Work closely with the CEO on B2B positioning, offer strategy, pricing, sales strategy, revenue targets, and growth planning.
  • Establish forecasting, pipeline management, sales processes, KPIs, reporting, and operating cadences for the new division.
  • Build the playbooks, processes, methodologies, and infrastructure necessary to transition execution from founder/leader-led to team-led.
  • Recruit and develop future sales, strategy, and revenue talent as the division scales (you would work hand in hand with our recruiting department to identify right fit talent)
  • Gradually assume leadership of the broader revenue organization and develop the management infrastructure required to consistently hit company growth targets.
  • Own revenue performance and ultimately be accountable for the number, not simply the activity surrounding it.
