Drive the Future of Protein Manufacturing Operations
Are you a proven executive leader with a deep background in protein operations ready to scale a high-growth enterprise? We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead the operational vision, financial growth, and strategic execution for our seven industry-leading meat and seafood plants.
You will serve as a key enterprise leader directly overseeing seven plant General Managers and a Sr. Director of Continuous Improvement. You’ll own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), drive EBIT margin performance, and shape Long-Range Planning (LRP) across production, logistics, and supply chain.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Enterprise Performance: Own and execute the AOP to deliver growth, elevate EBIT, optimize margins, and boost plant efficiencies.
- Lead Operations & Supply Chain: Oversee multi-facility protein processing, yield optimization, food safety, warehousing, and transportation.
- Champion Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and HR to maximize profitability and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop Leaders: Mentor senior plant managers (GMs), build top-tier succession pipelines, and cultivate an engaged, high-trust culture.
What You Bring
- 10+ Years of Executive Operations Leadership: Deep expertise leading multi-site manufacturing, plant operations, or processing facilities.
- Protein Industry Mastery: Proven track record in protein processing or manufacturing (meat, poultry, or seafood).
- P&L & Business Acumen: Advanced fluency with financial statements, EBIT optimization, cap-ex planning, and AOP/LRP development.
- High-Impact Leadership: Strategic vision, decisive decision-making, and a reputation for developing high-performing teams.
- Mobility: Comfort being hands-on across corporate and plant environments with 50–75% travel to US facilities.

Responsibilities
- Strategic & Operational Leadership: Develop, execute, and communicate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to drive revenue, manage operating expenses, and improve EBIT margins across all 7 US facilities.
- Manufacturing & Plant Operations: Guide, measure, and continuously improve production, yield, quality control, and safety standard operating procedures within a protein manufacturing environment.
- Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Optimize processes across warehousing, fleet transportation, margin/product mix, and labor allocation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Merchandising/Procurement, Revenue Management, and HR to ensure high-grade customer service, strong gross margins, and operational agility.
- Talent Development & Leadership: Mentor and develop senior plant managers (GMs), establishing clear succession pipelines and fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
