ROLE SUMMARYWe are seeking a strategic, driven, and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead business operations across a designated multi-county region. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing operations, marketing, compliance, and quality performance while working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, financial health, and customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSpecific Duties:Produce routine and ad‑hoc performance reports for leadership and client review and oversight.Provide executive oversight for all operational activities across multiple sites within the operation.Lead and support the Directors of Operation, other leadership and field staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Develop and execute business strategies in collaboration with the Regional President.Foster relationships with internal teams, political leaders, vendors, and key community stakeholders.Manage internal departments, such as Fleet, Communications, Billing, and Training.Monitor and enforce compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Set and manage operational performance metrics related to quality, safety, and service delivery.Oversee the operational budget, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives.Lead recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and staff development efforts.Champion a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and professionalism.Represent the organization at industry events and professional meetings.Demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding and compliance of company policies and procedures.Works with the Regional President on developing and implementing local strategic plan.Works with Regional President on developing and implementing local annual budget.Responsible for overall profit and loss management of operations.Responsible for managing local vendor relations and accounts payable management.Responsible for monitoring staffing levels in all operations in order to maintain operational efficiency.Responsible for directing all local sales, marketing, public and governmental affairs activities.Ensures that all field staff maintain a high level of customer service when dealing with patients, patient families, co-responders, other healthcare providers and the general public.Ensures that all field staff in all operations maintain appropriate certification and licensure for their position.Ensures that operations are in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations regarding the ordering, storage, use and record keeping of controlled substances.Ensures that operations are in full compliance with all company policies regarding clinical protocols and field documentation.Ensures that operations are in full compliance with all local, state and federal contracts, regulations and ordinances.Demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding and compliance of company policies and procedures.Ensures the security of all company computer systems by adhering to security procedures and utilizing appropriate passwords policies.Ensures security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, supplies, systems and all other company property.Acts at all times with his/her personal safety in mind, as well as the safety of others.Maintains security and privacy of all company and patient information at all times in accordanceHIPAA and all other local, state and federal regulations.Maintains security and privacy of all confidential and proprietary company information at all times in accordance with company policy.Reports to assigned shifts properly groomed and attired and on time unless the proper notification has been made. Remains on duty until properly relieved.At all times sets an example of professionalism and leadership for others to follow.Assures all company goals, objectives and procedures are followed on a daily basis.Performs other duties as directed by management.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPReports directly to the Regional President to develop and implement local strategic plansWORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVELTravel regularly across the region as required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in business, Emergency Medical Management, or a related field (preferred).7+ years of experience in EMS or comparable business operations5+ years in a progressive leadership role, preferably with multi-site or multi-state oversight.Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex operational environments.Current Paramedic license and clinical experience (preferred).Strong knowledge of EMS systems, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational software tools.Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Current Paramedic License (preferred)ACLS, PALS, BLS (preferred)EVOC/Defensive Driving certification or ability to obtainNIMS IS-100 and IS-700 (preferred).Valid state driver’s license requiredAll Operations Managers’ requirements.Must have solid business management and administrative skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe ability to reach, push and pull.The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.The ability to complete all job duties during any and all hours of the day and night.The ability use mouse or keyboard to input data into computer over long periods of time.The ability to view graphic and text data on multiple computer screens for long periods of times#IND1
