Job summary

• 12+ years of relevant finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, development, or construction projects.
• Understanding of project economics, capital planning, and investment returns.
• ERP experience, preferably NetSuite.
• Experience with Anaplan, Pigment, Adaptive Planning, Cube, or Vena preferred.

Our client is a rapidly growing data center infrastructure developer supporting hyperscale and AI-driven digital infrastructure. They are seeking a VP of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis as the business scales.

This is a highly visible leadership role partnering with development, engineering, construction, procurement, operations, and executive leadership to support capital allocation, project economics, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting.
• Develop financial models supporting data center development, capital investment, project economics, and strategic decisions.
• Partner with development, engineering, construction, procurement, and operations teams to evaluate project and business performance.
• Lead variance analysis, scenario planning, portfolio reporting, and financial performance reviews.
• Establish scalable FP&A processes, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and planning tools.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to executive leadership on capital allocation and growth initiatives.
• Build and develop the FP&A function and team as the organization scales.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a senior finance leader with 12+ years of progressive experience, including significant FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or investment analysis experience within data centers, digital infrastructure, power and utilities, renewable energy, telecom infrastructure, or related capital-intensive industries.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling and project economics expertise with executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of relevant finance experience with leadership responsibility.
