Seeq is a remote-first software company delivering data analytics for industrial process data. We are seeking an engineering leader with a proven track record of guiding technical teams and delivering high-impact software.

You will lead end-user facing squads, shaping architecture and processes while expanding engineering capacity to reach our ambitious market goals. A hands-on, mentor-driven approach is essential in our globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an engineering leader with a proven track record of managing technical teams.
• Experience with distributed computing and cloud ecosystems.

Our software engineers tackle hard problems in streaming calculation, storage, and distributed computing,leveragingthe latest features in Java, Kotlin, React, Python,Kubernetesand many other frameworks and technologies.We believe that AI is an exciting revolution in developer tooling and features we will bring to our customers, while also presenting new andreal challengesto how people interact with each other.

We are looking for an engineering leader with a proventrack recordof managing technical teams and taking them to the next level. We have a solid set of development squads in place with a good foundation of processes, engineering talent, and a history of delivering best-in-class software. This position will lead the end-user facing squads,roughly halfthe engineering team, and expand our engineering capacity as we continue to grow our customer base and market aspirations.

Our technology stackutilizesJVM languages (Java, Kotlin), Python, TypeScript/Reactandsome C#/.NET. The core of our product is a full-featured calculation engine that can perform complex math and execute machine learning algorithms on streaming time series data.Our SaaS architecture is Kubernetes based, with clusters in a dozen global regions on both AWS and Azure.

You love computers and programming.You have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.

You are a hands-on technical leader – your skills and knowledge are current because you have beencontributing inmeaningful ways to technical teams even as you have advanced in leadership roles.

You have experience indistributed computing anddeep knowledge of the cloud ecosystem.

You have deep experience and knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycles, including Agile methodologies (wegenerally useScrumbanhere), CI/CD pipelines, discovery, design, qualityassuranceand support.
