Job summary

Earthjustice seeks a visionary Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to lead strategy and implementation of DEI initiatives across the organization. You will drive cultural change, collaborate with senior leadership, and advance inclusion inside Earthjustice and with partners in the environmental space.

The role requires a track record of building equitable workplaces, expertise in DEI best practices, and the ability to influence across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of progressive experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives for a multi-site organization.
• Passion for leading a diverse staff and creating an equitable and inclusive work culture.
• Strong understanding of DEI best practices and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy aligned with Earthjustice’s mission.
• Provide leadership around DEI programs, policies, and learning.
• Partner with Human Resources to advise on recruitment, retention, and performance management tools.
• Build external partnerships to diversify networks and opportunities.
