Job summary

Discovered MENA seeks a Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Investments to drive growth in the US and globally, identifying and executing inorganic opportunities across AI, data, robotics, and cloud.

You will work with the CEO and executive team to source, structure, and close high-stakes deals, building strategic pipelines and expanding the company’s footprint in Silicon Valley.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in corporate development, tech investment banking, private equity, VC or strategic M&A.
• Proven sourcing, structuring, and execution of M&A, JVs, and strategic investments in tech.
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation and end-to-end due diligence experience.
• Strong network across SF Bay Area startup, VC and tech ecosystem.
• Executive presence and deal making with C-levels, founders and investors.
• Based in SF Bay Area or willing to relocate to SF.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and execute inorganic growth opportunities including M&A, strategic investments, JVs and partnerships.
• Lead end-to-end due diligence, transaction structuring and negotiations.

We recently had a brand new and exciting opportunity for a Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Investments to join one of the Middle East’s leading Data & AI pioneers as they expand their international footprint and launch their new office in San Francisco.

The Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Investments will play a critical role in driving the company’s US and global growth strategy, working directly alongside the CEO and executive leadership team. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing inorganic growth opportunities including M&A, strategic tech investments, joint ventures, and high-impact partnerships across the AI, data, robotics, and cloud ecosystems.

You will be highly influential in their continued global success, building strategic pipelines, negotiating high stakes transactions, and expanding their footprint across Silicon Valley alongside working for one of the most outstanding and exciting AI companies globally.

Requirements for the Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Investments:

• 7+ years of experience in corporate development, tech investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategic M&A.
• Demonstrated track record of sourcing, structuring, and executing M&A, joint ventures, and strategic investments within tech, AI, SaaS, or data infrastructure.
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and transaction-structuring capabilities, with hands on experience managing end to end due diligence processes.
• Established active network across the San Francisco Bay Area startup, founder, venture capital and tech ecosystem.
• Strong executive presence and deal making ability, comfortable building direct relationships with C-level executives, founders and investors.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or be based in the US and open to relocate to SF.
