Job summary

UVM Health seeks a senior technology leader to modernize its Health System from legacy on-prem to a resilient, consumption-based infrastructure. The VP Cloud and Infrastructure Modernization owns the core compute, storage, network, connectivity, identity, endpoint, and Microsoft enterprise estate.

The incumbent consolidates data centers, rebuilds recovery capabilities, and delivers reliable connectivity across a rural-serving network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modernize legacy, capital-intensive, on-premises operating model into a resilient, consumption-based infrastructure.
• Consolidate a seven-data-center footprint and establish a cloud-first landing zone.
• Rebuild recovery capability to protect multi-million-dollar daily revenue exposure.
• Deliver reliable connectivity across a geographically dispersed, rural-serving network.
