Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in first and/or second line risk management.
• Experience with model validation teams and pragmatic understanding of validation.
• Experience in wholesale banking with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• U.S. regional experience and understanding of U.S. regulatory landscape.
• Autonomous, adaptable, and collaborative team player.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• Strong self-awareness and ability to translate analytics into insights.
• Excellent communication, including explaining complex concepts.

Aufgaben

• Support the U.S. MoRM function in New York to ensure models are fit-for-purpose and compliant with regulatory expectations.
• Own and maintain ING Americas model inventory within iModel; conduct regional attestation.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance model risk activities.
• Become a strategic partner to ING Americas’ businesses and support functions and to Head Office’s Validation Center of Excellence.
• Keep abreast of external developments, best practices and regulations and translate to tangible actions.
