Job summary

LifeSci Capital, part of LifeSci Partners, seeks a Vice President to lead execution of equity and M&A transactions for biotechnology and life sciences clients in New York. The role sits between senior bankers and analysts, owning workstreams end-to-end with client contact and potential path toward Managing Director.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of investment banking or related transaction experience.
• Experience executing equity and equity-linked transactions in healthcare or life sciences.
• Proven ability to manage transactions end-to-end from pitching to closing.
• Strong command of accounting, modeling, valuation, and deal structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of capital markets and M&A transactions including IPOs and follow-ons.
• Develop and review financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic studies.
• Manage transactions across diligence, negotiation, and closing with internal and external teams.
• Conduct due diligence, identify risks, and craft mitigation strategies.
• Direct client-facing materials and communicate status to senior executives.
