Job summary

J.P. Morgan’s ABS Originations team in the Americas is seeking a Vice President to originate, structure, price, and execute asset-backed securities transactions across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions, with a special focus on Latin America.

The role requires leadership across the full transaction lifecycle—from origination and structuring through diligence, documentation, and execution—while coordinating with clients, rating agencies, and internal teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of securitization or structured finance experience.
• Strong quantitative skills for cash flow modelling and risk assessment.
• Fluent Spanish for Latin America client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, price, and execute ABS transactions across asset classes and jurisdictions, including loan portfolio purchases, forward-flow arrangements, private warehouses, and related structured financings.
• Lead private ABS financings for Latin American clients across asset classes including auto, payroll finance, credit cards, unsecured consumer, and SME lending.
• Support U.S. activities including real-estate financing and ABS Principal Finance across student loans, auto, unsecured consumer, SME, and other specialty finance asset classes.
• Drive transactions end-to-end: pitch development, structuring, due diligence, documentation, execution, and post-close portfolio management.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, counterparties, coverage teams, rating agencies, and legal counsel.
• Review, negotiate, and take accountability for transaction documentation and legal agreements.
