Job summary

SECU is seeking a Senior Leader to partner across business lines and drive enterprise regulatory initiatives. This role oversees infrastructure, InfoSec, Shared Services and regulatory programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to define scope, timelines and delivery.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, managing large delivery teams, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution, and aligning programs with SECU’s strategic plan. Hybrid work schedule available.

Qualifications

• Minimum leadership experience: 7 years direct, plus 2 years in supervisory role.
• Strong program management capabilities across large initiatives.
• Solid IT acumen with stakeholder management and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of infrastructure, InfoSec, risk, HR, finance and regulatory programs aligned with strategic plan.
• Drive large-scale regulatory initiatives and cross-functional coordination.
• Advise executives on strategy and program management with clear updates.
• Lead end-to-end program delivery ensuring on-time and within budget outcomes.
• Direct and develop delivery teams, organizing workstreams and coaching managers.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources without direct line supervision.

Position Overview

This is a Senior leadership position responsible for partnering across business lines, influencing, and driving the overall execution and successful delivery of enterprise regulatory initiatives. Oversight and accountability for all aspects of infrastructure, InfoSec, Shared Services and Regulatory programs and associated roadmap including coordination of cross-functional internal and external team resources, scope and requirements definition, strategic planning, development of timelines, organizational change management, and delivery.

Essential Responsibilities

• (30%) Oversight and delivery of infrastructure, info security, risk, HR, finance and regulatory programs and associated projects in alignment with SECU’s strategic plan, associated business roadmaps and the credit union’s objectives, mission and vision.
• (20%) Evaluate, influence and drive large scale, share service and regulatory initiatives. Overall program alignment with other program initiatives, business and technical teams.
• (20%) Serve as a trusted advisor for program stakeholders (Business, Risk and IT) and executive leadership on strategy and program management issues, providing transparent program updates and other project related information on a regular basis. Ensure timely and adequate communication to enable organizational focus and effectiveness.
• (10%) Drive end-to-end program/project management and execution, ensuring effective project delivery both on-time and within budget.
• (10%) Direct management of large program delivery team. Organize into efficient workstreams. Hire, train, direct and coach program managers, project managers to develop highly effective delivery teams.
• (10 %) Manage cross-functional project teams without direct line of supervision, as well as internal and external resources for the activities of each project.

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Minimum education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Related Fields
• Minimum certifications (if applicable): N/A
• Minimum direct years of experience: Leadership Experience Min 7 years direct experience + 2 years in supervisory leadership role or informal leadership experience
