Valtech is seeking a visionary Head of Studio to lead Traditional, GenAI, and Marketing Production. This senior role blends creative leadership with post-production oversight, hybrid workflows, and pricing strategy.

You will partner with senior client stakeholders and platform teams to deliver content at scale. You will own output across the studios, guide talent and tooling, and push innovative production methods while maintaining rigorous quality and client alignment.

• Architect multi-model content pipelines blending traditional and GenAI outputs.
• Oversee pricing models, commercial structures, and go-to-market for studio services.
• Collaborate with talent, vendors, and partners to optimize resource utilization and hiring.

The role

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Studio to lead our Traditional Studio, GenAI Studio, and Marketing Production functions, reporting to the Global CCO. This senior leadership role blends studio leadership, executive creative and production oversight, post-production expertise, and GenAI innovation, setting creative and technical standards, pioneering hybrid traditional and AI-powered workflows, shaping pricing and commercial models, and partnering with senior client stakeholders and platform partners to deliver content at scale.

Role responsibilities

Studio Leadership

• - Own output and performance accountability for Traditional Studio, GenAI Studio, and Marketing Production
• - Directly manage Motion/Editorial Leads, GenAI Lead, and Associate Director of Studio; set creative and technical standards across all three studios
• - Report studio performance, capacity, and roadmap to the Global CCO

Traditional Studio (Physical Production, Motion Graphics & Content at Scale)

• - Own all live-action shoot execution across the studio's work
• - Own motion graphics, configurators, website motion, social, and at-scale content production
• - Partner with account-aligned Creative Directors to shape ideas based on the brief, bringing a deep TVC production background to the collaboration
• - Direct video productions from concept to final cut
• - Serve as final creative eye and technical supervisor over post-production (owned day-to-day by Motion/Editorial Leads) - grounded in a VFX compositing, color, and technical filmmaking background
• - Build/maintain custom tooling (code) for scaled content production and complex VFX pipelines
• - Partner with talent agencies, production studios, and freelancers to build ideal team composition for each shoot

GenAI Studio & Future of Content

• - Lead the GenAI Lead and GenAI Studio's offering: architect multi-model chains for high-fidelity, production-grade, art-directable imagery base around traditional production creative decision making
• - Drive the studio's future-of-content agenda: pioneer and champion hybrid workflows that blend traditional production and GenAI output
• - Push the broader team toward new working methods as GenAI capability matures, evolving how traditional and AI-generated content are combined in production

Marketing Production

• - Provide creative oversight on brand films and case-study films, shaping narrative and visual flow to elevate brand profile and ensure consistently crisp storytelling
• - Direct the Associate Director of Studio on production logistics: scope, schedule, budget, vendor management, delivery

Executive Production & Commercial Models

• - Serve as Executive Producer partnering with the Associate Director of Studio on pricing models and commercial structures for studio work
• - Own commercial approach for how studio services are packaged and priced across client and internal engagements

Talent Operations

• - Partner with Americas Ops to optimize talent utilization across client-billable and funded internal work
• - Support contractor hiring and full time hiring and vetting across the studio functions

Presales, Account Growth & Partnerships

• - Serve as senior technical/creative voice in pitches, presenting GenAI and content capabilities directly to CMOs and senior client stakeholders
• - Regularly support account growth conversations across accounts as a content subject-matter expert, helping qualify content deals in a sales capacity
• - Partner with Google and Microsoft platform teams on custom platforms to drive consumption via the content supply chain

Must have qualifications

• • Advanced/Fluent English
• • 15+ years in TVC/commercial production spanning creative direction, directing, and post
• • Strong, demonstrable portfolio spanning all key craft categories within the studio (creative/concept, directing, post/VFX/motion/color, GenAI-driven content) — an "M-shaped" talent profile rather than single-discipline depth
• • VFX compositing, color, and technical filmmaking background
• • Track record leading multiple production functions/teams, not just individual delivery
• • Proven GenAI/multi-model pipeline expertise with fidelity and consistency control
• • Track record introducing new workflows/methodologies to a production team (change management, not just tool adoption)
• • Comfortable presenting to C-suite/CMO audiences
• • Experience qualifying/scoping deals as a subject-matter expert in a sales-support capacity
• • Coding/scripting applied to production tooling
• • Experience with resource/utilization planning and talent-network management across billable and internal work
• • Pricing/commercial model development for production services
