At Corebridge Financial, we believe action is everything. That’s why every day we partner with financial professionals and institutions to make it possible for more people to take action in their financial lives, for today and tomorrow.

About the Role

We are seeking a practice management leader with a proven and successful track record to serve as Vice President, Head of Practice Management (HPM) reporting directly to the EVP, Head of Retirement and Wealth Distribution. This role is mission‑critical to the advancement of our nearly 400 Wealth Advisor professionals, and the expansion of our Wealth Management business. The HPM will also take the lead in developing the content for Corebridge’s advisor‑facing conferences to create a world‑class advisor experience with measurable post‑conference business results. The candidate must have proven experience in supporting wealth management advisors in defining their value proposition, developing annual business plans, implementing teaming structures, driving organic growth strategies, structuring succession planning arrangements, promoting practice efficiency, and incorporating financial planning and holistic wealth management solutions. The ideal candidate also has experience in developing high‑impact advisor conference agendas.

This is a once‑in‑a‑career opportunity for a practice‑management leader to build a category‑leading center of excellence at one of the most respected firms in the retirement plan business, and to shape the future direction of our emerging wealth management business.

We are seeking a highly‑driven, change‑agent practice‑management professional who will be a catalyst for creating a culture of practice management within our advisor organization, and a culture of leadership excellence in our field management organization. As a core member of the distribution leadership team, this individual will design, lead, and execute a national practice‑management platform that fuels advisor expansion, business optimization, and exceptional client outcomes.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Scalable Platform Innovation

  • Architect and execute a next‑generation practice‑management strategy aligned with Corebridge’s growth objectives and client‑first culture.
  • Engineer modern business models that support advisor scalability, succession planning, and enterprise value creation.
  • Define and monitor performance KPIs that measure impact, adoption, and advisor productivity.

Advisor Acceleration & Growth Enablement

  • Design and institutionalize replicable growth frameworks covering segmentation, team design, operations, and profitability.
  • Leverage field insights to customize high‑impact engagements that align with enterprise growth priorities.
  • Coach and support advisors across several development areas such as:
    • Defining and articulating their value proposition(s)
    • Creating and executing annual business plans with a focus on net new relationships and net acquired assets
    • Implementing strategic alignments with an emphasis on team building and succession planning

Enterprise Alignment & Cross‑Functional Integration

  • Champion seamless collaboration across Distribution, Technology, Marketing, and Financial Planning teams.
  • Spearhead cross‑functional initiatives to deliver best‑in‑class tools, content, training, and enablement platforms.
  • Align with Product and Business Development teams to scale advisor enablement at the enterprise level.

Insights, Benchmarking & Market Thought Leadership

  • Oversee the development of field intelligence, benchmarking studies, and advisor research to drive strategic decision‑making.
  • Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for advisors and stakeholders.
  • Represent Corebridge as a recognized thought leader at industry events, conferences, and key forums.
  • Inspire a culture of innovation, excellence, and advisor‑centric growth across the Practice Management team.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field required; MBA or relevant graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive executive leadership in financial services, with a strong emphasis on practice management and advisor consulting.
  • Proven success managing large‑scale initiatives within matrixed, cross‑functional organizations.
  • Deep understanding of advisor business models, retirement planning, insurance, annuities, and wealth platforms.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 (63/65), and 24 strongly preferred (or ability to obtain within 120 days).
  • Experience across both independent and affiliated advisor distribution channels a plus.
Skills & Competencies
  • Visionary leadership and executive presence with the ability to engage across senior levels.
  • Mastery of practice management disciplines: service segmentation, business optimization, succession planning, team design, etc.
  • High emotional intelligence: exceptional coach, communicator, and change agent.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset; uses data to inspire decisions and measure success.
  • Confident communicator in all formats: virtual, in‑person, and main‑stage environments.
  • Financial acumen including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Expertise with CRM systems e.g., Salesforce, sales enablement platforms, performance dashboards, and modern productivity tools.
  • A bold, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for transformation, innovation, and scalable growth.
Compensation
