Rubrik seeks a veteran leader to head Global Government Affairs, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, with preference for the DC area but open to remote. This executive will shape Rubrik’s global public policy strategy for cyber resilience, AI safety, and data protection, engaging with government leaders and regulatory agencies worldwide.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading government relations or public policy in tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS.
• Proven track record shaping national policy frameworks and engaging with C-level leaders.
• Deep understanding of how policy drives go-to-market motions in Public Sector.

Responsibilities

• Establish direct relationships with foreign ministries, heads of state, and key U.S. agencies.
• Serve as primary spokesperson for Congressional hearings and White House discussions on cybersecurity policy.
• Partner with Public Sector and Enterprise sales to unlock government opportunities.
• Track and shape legislation on zero-trust, ransomware response, data governance, and AI security.
• Embed Rubrik’s technical vision into federal standards and policy frameworks.
