Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Liquidity Management Specialist (Vice President) in New York / Jacksonville to lead regional liquidity risk management, stress testing, and MIS development within the Treasury function. You will partner with the Global Liquidity team to optimize funding needs and resource allocation while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative / analytical discipline
• 7+ years of experience in Risk / Finance / Treasury with focus on Liquidity Management in a bank or broker-dealer
• Strong analytical skills with data & financial information
• Proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools such as Alteryx / Tableau / PowerBI
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong communication to present complex concepts to stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead change and coordinate across regions
• Knowledge of liquidity regulations including LCR, NSFR

Responsibilities

• Understand regional activities and resource implications
• Assess liquidity risks arising from activities
• Ensure liquidity risk management framework captures risks
• Understand regulatory requirements and capture in liquidity models
• Daily review and validation of internal & regulatory liquidity stress testing and MIS
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal liquidity requirements
• Explain liquidity risk framework to internal/external stakeholders
• Analyze new products to assess liquidity risk and advise on resource utilization
• Partner with business on monitoring, forecasting financial resource usage
• Leverage technology to create more impactful MIS and efficiency
• Present Liquidity Management matters at US ALCO
