Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Compliance and Risk professional to conduct due diligence, assess reputational risk, and coordinate with legal and compliance teams across North and Latin American deals in a dynamic Dallas environment.

You will analyze diverse information sources, prepare executive summaries, and build expertise in industry risks while supporting cross-functional projects and committee reviews in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

4+ years of legal/regulatory, accounting, compliance or other financial experience.
Risk assessment skills involving reputational, legal, regulatory, environmental topics.
Strong analytical and communication abilities, both oral and written.
Experience with investment banking and related transactions is helpful.
ESG risk experience is a plus.
Intellectual curiosity and interest in current events.
Team player with commercial judgment.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Discretion with highly confidential information.
CPA, CFA, JD/attorney licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform legal, regulatory and financial due diligence to assess reputational risk across transactions and relationships.
Evaluate risk-relevant information from diverse sources, including public filings, regulatory lists and research reports.
Coordinate with internal/external counsel, compliance and business teams to address risks identified.
Prepare summaries and materials for analysis by business areas and committees.
Develop domain expertise in industry/regional risk areas and anticipate reputational risks.
Support ad hoc special projects as needed.
