We are looking for a Vice President, General Accounting & Bank Ops to lead the operational side of the accounting function, including Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger and cash reconciliations, unclaimed property management, and statutory and premium tax reporting. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who is strategic, detail-oriented, and skilled at building strong teams and controls in a regulated insurance environment. Come join our "A Team".
This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is accountable for the strategic direction, controls, and performance of the accounting operations function. The Vice President exercises independent judgment on complex and non-routine matters, sets department priorities and policy, manages a team of accounting professionals, and represents the function in interactions with senior leadership, external auditors, and regulators.
