Job summary

A leading credit investment firm based in New York is seeking an Associate/VP to join its Fund Accounting & Finance team. This mid-senior level role involves preparing and reviewing performance estimates, managing the month-end close, and collaborating with Investor Relations. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in public accounting or in-house at hedge/credit/structured credit fund.
• Open‑Ended Fund Experience, preferably with monthly reporting.
• Familiarity with structured products/ABS and derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly NAV and performance estimates for funds and SPVs.
• Manage month-end close with administrators and review financial statements.
• Support year-end audits and regulatory filings.

Skills

U.S. GAAP investment company accounting

Advanced Excel skills

Experience with portfolio accounting systems

Strong product knowledge in fixed income

Education
